Miami-Dade County created the Violence Intervention Project (VIP) to increase public awareness and understanding of the youth violence problem in our community. VIP strives to make youth aware of the services and resources available to them to build productive lives -- their real choices. To support these efforts, VIP encourages individuals, businesses, and civic organizations, to provide program support to help us make a difference.

There are two ways individuals, businesses and civic organizations can become a VIP Club Member.

  1. Volunteer your time!   Do you have a talent or resource that the youth can benefit from?  Stop by or participate in one of the VIP neighborhood events.  Share your passion about this issue by speaking with the youth and keeping it real.  No frills, just a presence. Contact Us.

  2. Co-sponsor  or underwrite  VIP activities.  You can donate items in support of a neighborhood event -- things like food for the youth, beverages, and prizes.   Co-branding with an event is good for business and the community it serves. Contact Us.
